You’re seeing a preview — two taps to start

Your email app is showing this file as a picture of a page, so the buttons below won’t do anything yet. To run the check:

  1. Tap the download button for this attachment (the little arrow, or “Download” / “Save to Files”).
  2. Open the file you just downloaded. It opens in your normal browser and works straight away — nothing to install.

Nothing is wrong with the file. Email apps switch off the part that makes a page interactive, which is why it has to be opened outside your inbox. It works on a phone, a tablet or a computer, and your answers stay on your device unless you choose to send us a summary.

Where does your food safety stand today?

This is a plain-language check you can do yourself, walking round your own premises. It asks the kinds of questions a food-safety assessor asks, in ordinary words, and keeps a record of your answers.

It takes about 20–30 minutes. You need nothing prepared, and you do not have to finish in one sitting — answers save as you go.

What you get at the end

A printable report showing what you already meet, what is partly in place, and a clear list of the gaps — something you can hand to a manager, a consultant or an assessor and say “this is where we are”.

Please read this bit

This is a self-assessment tool. It is not an audit and not a certificate. Nobody checks your answers, and finishing it does not certify or approve you, or make you compliant with anything. It is a structured way to find out what you already have and what is missing, before anyone official comes to look.
